Join us at this workshop by IEEE UAB Student Branch x GDGoC UAB, where we’ll see in action how AI is transforming the way we interact with infrastructure.

We know that terms like Kubernetes, Google Cloud or Crossplane can sound like a different language if you’re just starting out—but don’t worry! The goal of this session is to demystify these technologies. We’ll explore a real-world architecture, like the ones used by top tech companies today, in a very visual and accessible way so you can build a solid foundation.

🧠 What will you learn?

Instead of writing endless config files or complex commands, we’ll explore how an AI agent can do the heavy lifting for us:

• How to use AI as a “magic assistant” (dynamic interface) to create services in Google Cloud.
• Explore a real-world architecture using simplified Cloud Native (CNCF) tools.
• Understand how custom AI agents interact with the cloud to solve problems and manage resources.
• See the whole system in action and discuss the design decisions behind it.

• Your laptop: To make the most of the session, we’ll send you a simple script to run beforehand so everything is set up and ready with just one click!
• Curiosity and motivation: No prior Cloud or DevOps experience needed

We’re bringing in a true industry heavyweight! Viktor is a Developer Advocate at Upbound, CNCF Ambassador, and Docker Captain. He is widely known in the tech community as the creator and host of the popular YouTube channel DevOps Toolkit.
